Admob, about reaching a plateau in app downloads
On the previous graph, you can see a typical download pattern for an app of the google store or the apple store.
This app was never promoted so there are no peaks or sudden changes in the curve. From August 2013, it reached a plateau because the number of downloads of this app equals the number of deletion, uninstalls of this app. The uninstall are due to people not needing it anymore, people reseting their devices, etc...
Now without promotion through adword, or support from a star twitting how cool it is or from a good marketing campaign, this app will never increase the number of installed app. May be some ups and downs due to the increswing numbers of users but this will be slow and organic.
